WELCOME TO NEWCASTLE TAMIL SANGAM-AUSTRALIA
The Newcastle Tamil Sangam is an inspiring vision, owed to the elders of the community, and nurtured by the people of the Tamil community within the Hunter region of New South Wales. It was a successful venture created to provide an exciting opportunity for people and families to meet others, enhance friendships, community spirit and celebrate traditional cultural festivities.
The sangam organises 4 major events per year and participates in a number of other community events. This includes an – Annual Cultural Night, Dosai Party, Movie Night and Annual General Meeting. In the recent years, the Sangam and Tamil School (run by the Sangam) has also participated in the yearly Maitland Riverlights Festival and Combined Schools Concert conducted by Hunter Community Languages.
We currently have more than 110 families registered as members and are always keen to invite new arrivals in the community. Come and join !!

Recent Event :- நியூக்காசில் தமிழ்ச்சங்கத்தின் வருடாந்த பொதுக்கூட்டம் 05/07/2025 அன்று Pasterfield Sports Complex, 8C Horizon Ave, Cameron Park NSW 2285 ல் நடைபெற்றது. பின்வருவோர் புதிய நிர்வாகக்குழு உறுப்பினர்களாக (Year July 2025 – July 2026) தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.
